Why learn various Languages??

Importance of learning languages.

Language learning is an inherited quality and is innately supported by Chomsky’s so-called LAD-Language Acquisition Device. According to Chomsky, children have an inborn faculty for language acquisition but linguists need to master techniques and strategies to facilitate languages and as a CEO of the language house, I gladly proclaim that my team possesses all these qualities to address and work with a zone of proximal development after researching and practical experimentation of 21st-century skills whether it’s English, Chinese, French, German, Persian, Korean Urdu, and Punjabi.

I reckon that language learning is a powerful tool through which we achieve practical and optimal success.

English language is the language of two billion people around the world. It is the official language in most countries. Many people struggle for English proficiency considering it as a measure of intelligence and confidence. It is an undeniable reality of today’s world that English proficiency is the basic requirement in education and career development. Countries like China, Japan, KSA, and Turkey did not give much importance to the English language, but they have also come to realize that it is a dire necessity for survival in this dynamic era. This is the era of technology and research. Thus, English plays an important role in the determination of information technology, education, and research (Butler, 2004).

Secondly, Teachers hold a significant role in the life of students due to their exquisite expertise. It becomes a stupendous responsibility for a teacher to build their students’ knowledge in a way that their minds are sharpened, skills are enhanced and polished. The teacher is also responsible for the character building of students. Hence, one cannot deny the importance of the role of a teacher in society. The teacher prepares the future generation. They train students to not only deal with academics but also with the daily challenges of life. The Language House team is fully aware of this significance therefore our forum is unique in the way that we implement the techniques of scaffolding with the communicating competence methodology. Therefore, the skills and capabilities of a teacher to teach in our ESL class are accessed and our faculty are given in-service training too.

Through the self-reflection technique, teachers could improve their teaching methodologies to make our learner’s communication competent.

Formal linguists see competence in a simple manner that is felicity and ease (Webster). On the other hand, sociolinguists such as Chomsky, view it as a broad thing that matters a lot. Johnson and Onwuegbuzie (2004) define communicative competence as a combined result of knowledge and the ability to use a language. Everston (1994) suggested a broader definition of communicative competence. They are of the view that grammatical competence is not the only thing that matters. Our linguists help learners acquire competence in sociolinguistics, and discourse as well. Due to Globalization, there is a complete shift in teaching and learning paradigms from traditional learning styles to 21 St century skills.

We, the team of TLH, prepare a lesson thoroughly due to mixed ability classes. They work hard to take students of different backgrounds and deal with them in a way that they learn effectively. We are blessed to have a framework that provides teachers with solutions in challenging situations.

The teacher-centered approach should be the focus of skilled teachers (William & Littlewood, 2007). According to Jenelle (2010) researchers have worked less on the teacher’s behavior regarding the issue of English-language learners in the mainstream classroom. On TLH’s platform, the research department, experts in particular fields are conducting research and evaluation of our methodologies to improve them gradually. A researcher explores four main categories of teachers’ behavior toward English language learners. This includes ELL inclusion, coursework modification, professional development for working with ELLs, and perceptions of language and language learning. Our English language teachers are concerned regarding their accountability concerning students’ progress as measured by standardized tests. ESL teachers need proper training that makes them capable of teaching language proficiency. Some researchers reveal that there are teaching methods to work with language learners. At present, my team is working rigorously to explore international standards and various points of teachers’ preparation, certification, and evaluation successfully.

As an ELT trainer, researcher entrepreneur, and the CEO of the Language House, I am striving with resilience, commitment, and firm honesty to bring the positive change to Education at local, national, and international levels as

We believe in
